The tram of Piran was the public transport between 1912 and 1953 linked with the Tartini Square in Piran Parenzana train station in Saint Lucia (Lucia today).The concession for the operation of the tram came from Vienna on 11 September 1911. The trolleybus was abolished on the same route, a company of Augusta began to lay tram tracks, while the cables were installed in the poles of the trolleybus.
